Solar Thermal Systems
Heat pump systems have become an increasingly popular method of saving energy as they absorb the energy from either ground or air to assist in the heating of domestic/commercial premises heating/hot water systems.
Solar Thermal systems are an increasingly popular method of saving energy as they absorb the sun’s energy to assist in the heating of domestic/commercial premises hot water systems.
Combined Heating and Power (CHP) is a process where the heat during electricity production is used to preheat boiler plant therefore avoiding significant energy losses and at the same time reducing CO² emissions, electricity can be used in the premises and the heat generated can also be used to produce heating and hot water. renewables plumbing and heating installation hvac

District heating is a transmission system that can be connected to all forms of heat production.
Currently, district heating is produced from sources which include: waste, wood chips, straw, wind, solar heating, geothermal energy, natural gas, oil, coal and surplus heat from industry.
In Denmark there is a total of approx. 60,000 km of district heating network piping, 30,000 km inlet and 30,000 km outgoing. It contains about a billion litres of hot water.
District Heating and green energy
District heating is an efficient distribution system, which provides heating and benefits from large scale production. Consequently, district heating can utilise several different environmentally friendly energy sources. The share of fossil fuels used for district heating is decreasing by the year. Around 61 pct. of delivered district heating is green, sustainable heat produced from renewable energy sources.
Because district heating is a flexible system using several different energy sources it is capable of adjusting to sustainable and renewable energy sources. This is why district heating is an important part of the UK target of being 100 pct. carbon neutral in 2050.
Underfloor heating provides the most comfortable, even warmth of any heating system. It is economical to run and virtually maintenance free.
90% of our time is spent in enclosed spaces. Getting the temperature right makes a huge difference to our quality of life.
So why compromise on comfort?
Underfloor heating distributes heat throughout the room. This works by distributing a lower temperature of warm water through a circuit of pipes beneath the finished floor. Heat is monitored and controlled by intelligent thermostats to maintain a consistent temperature throughout the property or individual zones.
Unlike radiators, underfloor heating systems heat the room evenly without creating hot or cold spots.
Expect a pleasant indoor climate – wherever you are.
Underfloor heating doesn’t offer you just comfort and flexibility – it saves energy too - up to 20%.
That’s great news for the environment – and your wallet, it’s no more expensive to buy and install than conventional heating.
Why choose a standard solution when you can have a sustainable one for the same price?
When it comes to sustainability, you can expect more from your underfloor heating.
The system can be easily combined with a range of renewable energy sources, including solar or heat pumps.
